I’ve said it before, and I keep telling the ag industry: sod farmers are and will continue to be the earliest adopters of autonomy in agriculture. Why? Because they are some of the most progressive, tech-forward farmers you’ll ever meet. These aren’t folks waiting around for a solution – they’re building one.
And somewhere along the way, something unexpected happened. These farmers, our earliest customers, became more than just adopters. They became partners. They’ve turned into collaborators. Best of all, they’re considered friends.
They’ve opened up their farms, shared their frustrations, tested new ideas, and given us the kind of feedback you can’t get from a whiteboard. They’ve let us ride along for the good, the bad, and everything in between. They’ve shown patience when we were working out the kinks and pushed us harder when they knew we could do better.
I never expected to start a company and come away with this kind of connection to the people we serve. But here we are, side-by-side with the folks actually putting this technology to work, shaping it every step of the way. Talk about an unintended consequence.
