It was great seeing so many of you at the TPI show last week. I’ve said it before – this trade show is my favorite in all of agriculture. And it’s not because of the technology – it’s the people. The dirty little secret I tell the row crop guys in agriculture is that sod farmers aren’t talking about the future – they’re creating it. Proof? Not once in my conversations did I hear, “Because that’s the way my dad did it.”
I’d venture to guess I met all of our current customers at the show this year. For the record, I appreciate the feedback you gave me and my team. Every challenge you bring us and idea you share, pushes us to refine and improve what we do.
Invariably, the conversations at TPI were about what’s next. How can we help remove more inefficiencies? How can we optimize labor further? How do we keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sod production? I promise you’ll either see it firsthand or start hearing rumors.
